Here's our round-up of who's been saying what, on the web, this past month. Click through to any that you would like to read in full...!
Oops, firstly we must apologise - would you believe that we are knee deep in the midst of Christmas planning at the moment, hence this is a MONTHLY round-up, rather than a weekly one... Oh well. We actually might keep doing it this way - or perhaps even fortnightly... let us know if you have any objections!
First up is the lovely Scarlett London blog, trying our our Gingerbread, Vanilla Ice Cream and Baby Powder Colognes. The verdict? ... "For a cologne, they were longer wearing than I initially thought – as I could still smell remnants of Gingerbread well into the evening, despite having sprayed it only a few times that morning. You can mix and match a few to create a scent unique to you or just wear different singular ones each day depending on how you feel, which I love – I think I’m going to have to get a few more of these..."
And if that wasn't good enough feedback, we also receive the ultimate in accolades from Lynda at the Wonderlusting blog, when she writes about our Sunshine Cologne, "Though I wear this for myself my manfriend absolutely loves this fragrance. It is the ONLY perfume I’ve ever worn that he’s proactively commented on EVER! The first time he smelt it, his exact words were: “Mmmmm you smell amazing, what are you wearing?”. Commentary from a manfriend is almost always quite a momentous occasion in one's fragrant day-to-day!
If you're wondering what our latest addition to the library, Mint Chocolate Chip, might layer well with, you might want to check out the Thrifty Blogger UK or Sweet Elyse blog's suggestions - all of which are gorgeously brilliant.
On the subject of layering, are you looking for a new autumn fragrance? That was the challenge that the Glam O' Clock blog presented us with, along with a list of fragrances that she felt she was drawn to often. We prescribed a blend of our Orange Blossom, Moonbeam and Musk#7 Colognes... which seemed to go down pretty well, even if we do say so ourselves. Or, check in with the I Scent You a Day blog to read Samantha's wicked descriptions of the 'alchemy' that was created when she blended our Mahogany and Pipe Tobacco Colognes.
And as we're now warming up for autumn, expect to see a little more of our sweet, indulgent scents. Here Ram Etc reviews our winter staples, Gingerbread and Vanilla Ice Cream, the Tastes Like Glitter blog also sniffs out our Vanilla Ice Cream.
Finally, find out what the Oh Hey There Hair! author thought about her recent giveaway win of our Dragon Fruit Cologne and how Dee, at DB Reviews, got on with her Jet Set Perfume Discovery Box from The Perfume Society, featuring our very own Salt Air and Pina Colada Colognes!
Huzzah! Have a great week and check back next month for more news about our reviews!
