With thanks to Heather from the Beauty & Nothingness blog, for this lovely pic of our Baby Powder & Thunderstorm purse sprays, as appearing on Heather's guest blog post at the Water Painted Dreams blog.
Here's our round-up of who's been saying what, on the web, this past week. Click through to any that you would like to read in full...!
Kicking things off, we were delighted to see our best-selling Baby Powder and Thunderstorm Colognes make a guest appearance on Heather's guest appearance on the Water Painted Dreams blog! Of the former, Heather writes, "The cologne smells heavenly, like sweet talc/baby powder which I personally love as it smells so clean and fresh to me..." and of our beloved Thunderstorm, the verdict is just as sweet, "I have been reaching for this fragrance more over the past couple of weeks...It is so fresh, clean and spring like; it smells like freshly cut grass and rain - basically an english summer! Again as with the baby powder cologne, this one is so long lasting." And later in the week, Heather pops up again on the Momentss Like Thiss blog, where she writes about her Library of Fragrance collection, citing our Mountain Air and Thunderstorm scents as her absolute faves.
And our Thunderstorm makes another appearance, this week, this time on the Lola Rock N Roses blog, where author Lauren shares this fabulous description, "So let's ask the obvious question: does it actually smell like a thunderstorm? You know that amazing smell before the heavens open and it chucks it down. Petrichor is it's actual name. Anyway the answer is yes. Yes it does. I wasn't actually expecting it to smell so much like an actual thunderstorm but it does. It really does! How they've managed to bottle that scent I will never know! When you first spritz it on it smells really earthy which immediately makes me think of sheets of rain, jumping in puddles and heavy, grey clouds, but it also smells really fresh and quite grassy..."
Perhaps because of the warmer weather, there has been a flurry of activity around our fresher, crisper scents this past week - and Comopolitan.co.uk is no exception! Here's our Gin & Tonic Cologne recommended by them in a brilliant round-up of '10 gender neutral fragrances to fall in love with'. Firstly, as you probably know, we believe that all fragrances are gender neutral and that it's up to the wearer to decide their own preferences. And secondly, we agree with Cosmopolitan entirely; how could you NOT fall in love with a cologne that smells like gin and tonic?
Have a great week and check back next week for more news about our reviews!
