Here's our round-up of who's been saying what, this past week. Click through to any that you would like to read in full...!
The week kicks off with the Always Darkest Before the Dawn blog writing about the discovery of our scents! Our Gingerbread and Grass Colognes were the two selected from our range of 28, at Boots - find out what the verdict was by clicking on the link! Meanwhile, over at the Miss Stephanie Usher Blog, we're described as a 'must try' brand, which is clearly pretty nice to hear... thank you, Stephanie!
Next up, the London Calling Blog describes some of our scents and sums it all up by saying, "My own collection is small but concise and I think it gives a good representation of just what my nose enjoys. Sex on the Beach just had to be my first scent - I love the tropical cocktail and it takes me back to drinking pitchers in Wetherspoons with my friends, just one spritz puts me in the mood for a night out and I love it. Next up is Moonbeam, a scent I bought with Boots points. Obviously this one is more of a conceptual scent but somehow they have bottled the midnighty feeling moonbeams evoke. A mix of vanilla, chocolate, jasmine and amber it's a warm, floral scent that's not my usual cup of tea (a scent they do actually do but only in the US unfortunately) but I quite fancy as my 'signature' scent."
Later on in the week, the Brenda Busy Bee blog writes about our beloved Thunderstorm Cologne - one of our absolute favourites! We loved reading about how it conjured memories of the sudden and violent storms of Africa, where Brenda grew up. Do head over and have a read if you are curious to know what Thunderstorm smells like... or stop by Boots when you're next passing and have a whiff of one of the testers!
Meanwhile, with an altogether different type of weather taking precedent, the Hay Sparkle blog reviews two of our most summery scents, Daisy and Sunshine. And over at The Sunday Girl blog, Adrienne earmarks some of the scents that she thinks most suited to those of us who prefer a more masculine approach to fragrance, with a round-up of our Mahogany, Black Pepper, Leather and Whiskey Tobacco Colognes.
Over at the Little Blog of Beauty, Becky tries out Baby Powder Cologne to see what all the fuss is about (and realises, we hope!), as does Kirsty at the Miss Pork Pie blog. Charlie at the Just Charlie G blog recently won a set of our early summer blooms collection and blogs about scents, Apple Blossom, Peony and Iris, here. And, we were absolutely delighted to see that the Sparkly Vodka blog featured our Mountain Air as a 'favourite' of the past month (you can also click through to a more detailed review of this scent on Sparkly Vodka, which we recommend - it's brilliant descriptive!).
Finally, the Sophie Etc blog had these lovely words to say about our Cherry Blossom Cologne... so lovely, it would seem daft not to finish on them... "Summer is the time for fresh, floral scents and I've been loving the Library of Fragrance Cherry Blossom Cologne*. It's subtle yet floral, so ideal for daytime. It's a singular scent so designed to be paired with the other single scents in the range which I love the idea of. They are a good dupe for the Jo Malone Fragrances, but a snip at £15 each."
Have a great week and check back next week for more news about our reviews!
