The origin of tobacco use in the Western world started with Christopher Columbus' discovery of the Americas. The Spanish successfully introduced tobacco to Europe and the British aristocracy adopted pipe smoking as a popular pastime: its increasing cultivation forming the economic basis of the first successful English colonies in North America.

Health considerations aside, Sherlock was onto a good thing, at least scent-wise. There are generations of us who are instantly reminded of much loved grandpas, dads and uncles at the scent of a good pipe. Our Pipe Tobacco fragrance is rich, deep, moist and pungent. With touches of both sweetness and spice. It's everything you could ask for from a fine tobacco accord.

Did you know that The Library of Fragrance colognes can be layered to create scents that are unique to you? Mix and match any two, or more, to create combinations for every mood and occasion. Here are some suggestions to try with Pipe Tobacco:

Confused about the difference between cologne and perfume, parfum, eau de parfum, eau de toilette and/or aftershave? These different names simply refer to the concentration of fragrance oil within the bottle. All our fragrances are colognes, which means that they contain between 2-8% of fragrance oil. All of our products are unisex; we don't believe that fragrance has a gender.
