The Library of Fragrance Oud 15ml

The Library of Fragrance
Oud 15ml

£10.00 (P&P Royal Mail 1st Class from £2.81… more info)

Oud is also called agarwood. It comes from the wood of the tropical agar (aquilaria) tree, believed to have originated in the Assam region of India, and spread from there throughout Southeast Asia. When the wood of this tree gets infected with a certain mould variety (phialophora parasitica), it reacts by producing a precious, dark and fragrant resin from which this precious perfume ingredient is derived.

Oud is highly valued by perfumers for its sweet, woody, aromatic and complex scent. Our Oud fragrance refines, softens and isolates the oud note into an incredibly wearable, single note scent, whilst maintaining its full, rounded and enveloping nature: beautiful worn alone, or layered with other scents to add rich, mysterious depth.

Did you know that The Library of Fragrance colognes can be layered to create scents that are unique to you? Mix and match any two, or more, to create combinations for every mood and occasion. Oud blends incredibly well with, literally, any other scent, adding a sultry depth and a smooth intensity. Try using it to switch your day time scent, to something richer for the evening. Here are some suggestions to try with Oud:

Confused about the difference between cologne and perfume, parfum, eau de parfum, eau de toilette and/or aftershave? These different names simply refer to the concentration of fragrance oil within the bottle. All our fragrances are colognes, which means that they contain between 2-8% of fragrance oil. All of our products are unisex; we do not believe that fragrance has a gender.
