Synonymous with relaxation and a good night's sleep, lavender has been used for centuries in perfumery, aromatherapy and medicine.

Lavender is a shrubby plant and a flowering member of the mint family. Indigenous to the mountainous regions of the countries bordering the western half of the Mediterranean, it's cultivated extensively for its aromatic flowers - and the essential oil that they produce - in various parts of France, Italy and England. There's hardly a prettier view than one that frames the purple haze of rolling lavender fields.

Our Lavender fragrance smells just like the scent that would be left behind if you crushed the fresh blooms between your fingers.

Did you know that The Library of Fragrance colognes can be layered to create scents that are unique to you? Mix and match any two, or more, to create combinations for every mood and occasion. Here are some suggestions to try with Lavender:

Confused about the difference between cologne and perfume, parfum, eau de parfum, eau de toilette and/or aftershave? These different names simply refer to the concentration of fragrance oil within the bottle. All our fragrances are colognes, which means that they contain between 2-8% of fragrance oil. All of our products are unisex; we don't believe that fragrance has a gender.
