Here's our round-up of who's been saying what, this past week. Click through to any that you would like to read in full...!
We were thrilled to see that The Sunday Girl gave The Library of Fragrance another TWO mentions, this week, firstly in Adrienne's 'Crazy for Daisy' feature about her latest fave scent for summer, and then in a really brill post about the difference between different format terms used in perfumery. We really loved reading the verdict on our 'Daisy' Cologne, which is set to be a best-seller as we move into the spring... here's why we think that is: "If you are looking for a more affordable but equally delightful Daisy based scent then I fully recommend The Library of Fragrance Daisy Cologne (£15). This is a beautiful, airy, clean and bright floral. It is very similar to the above Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Eau de Toilette only perhaps a little less powdery and dare I say it longer wearing. Personally if I am wearing any Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrance I tend to pop The Library of Fragrance Daisy Cologne into my handbag and use it to top up my fragrance throughout the day. Although not identical it is more than suitable to refresh without draining your more expensive fragrance collection."
After reading The Sunday Girl blog, we then catapulted ourselves over to The Friday Girl blog (and no, we promise we didn't plan it that way!). Author of The Friday Girl, Allie May Redmond, actually got in touch to ask what scents we would recommend, based on a few of her favourites (Miss Dior and Nicki Minaj). On the back of some of the common notes from Allie's favourite, we prescribed a trio of our 'Orange Blossom', 'Patchouli' and 'Peach' Colognes. Click the link to find out what Allie thought of them - individually and blended and layered together.
Finally, this week, the Love & Liquor blog writes about our fabulously sweet, 'Marshmallow' Cologne, saying, "This beautiful, sweet smelling cologne spray smelts exactly what I imagine the whole experience to smell like; they have well and truly hit the nail on the head."
Have a great weekend and check back next week for more news about our reviews!
