The Library of Fragrance - this week's reviews, 2 January 2015

PHOTO CREDIT: With thanks to Catherine at You Wish You

We hope that you have been enjoying the festive period, eating too many mince pies and generally relaxing. Here's our round up of who's been saying what, this past fortnight (a fortnight, this week, due to the Christmas break!). Click through to any that you would like to read in full...!

Last Monday, the lovely Catherine over at the You Wish You blog, reviews our 'Moonbeam', saying that, "The Library Of Fragrance is the Yankee Candle of the beauty world. Browsing through their 101 fragrance collection is an exciting task on it's own, they have a multitude of singular fragrances from Cherry Blossom to Pizza so choosing just one out of this amazing, intriguing bunch is something that took me a damned long time. If you're looking to buy, you'll probably end up with two or three in your shopping basket, and I don't blame you; you're really spoilt for choice and variety. The fragrance I finally narrowed it down to Moonbeam, which although I had no idea what to expect I absolutely love as a winter evening fragrance..."

On Christmas Eve, Carlee at The Amazing Blog writes about our 'Pure Soap' Cologne - the perfect way to feel fresh and clean at anytime. Also, just before Christmas, we managed to sneak on to the you tube gift guides of both Raining Cake Blog and Cocochic, who recommended our 'Baby Powder' and 'Clean Skin' Colognes, respectively.

Saturday's post by Kiran, over at the Kiran Reveur blog, features our 'Bulgarian Rose' Cologne in a round up of the best 'rose' scented beauty on the market. Did you know that it takes over 350,000 individual roses (which are all picked by hand) to produce just one kilogram of pure rose oil, making it much more expensive than gold?

On Monday, Natalie at the Simply Just Natalie blog tries out our 'Fresh Coconut' Cologne, which, if you ask us, is the perfect tropical antidote to the chilly prospect of January. Her verdict? "...boy, what a treat". Meanwhile, we get a little mention from the Curling Stones for Lego People blog (could that be the best blog name, ever?) in a write up about the recent Hull Bloggers event, which sounded AMAZING.

On Wednesday, before preparing to see the New Year in, the lovely Charley at Rambling of a Beauty Blogger confesses to spending an inordinate amount of time sniffing our wares in her local Boots' store, whilst adding to her collection of The Library of Fragrance scents. And if you're a fan of vanilla or chocolate fragrances, be sure to check out Naville's post about beauty products along this theme, over at the Inspirations Have I None blog (and you may also want to sniff out our delicious-as-if-they've-just-come-out-of-the-oven 'Chocolate Chip Cookie' Cologne, as featured!).

Finally, If you're keen to get your hands on a bottle of one of our weird & wonderful fragrances (of your choosing), head over to the Minty Essence blog, where Joanna is holding a giveaway.

Check back next week for more news about our reviews!
