The Library of Fragrance - this week's reviews, 19 December 2014

PHOTO CREDIT: With thanks to Bryony at The Life Edit

It's been another busy week on the web! Here's our round up of who's been saying what. Click through to any that you would like to read in full...!

Saturday kicks off this week with Bryony at The Life Edit telling us what she thinks about our fruity, sweet, 'Pomegranate' Cologne. And on Sunday we find Kathryn at the Cherries in the Snow blog, telling us how she feels about our 'Gingerbread' Cologne, as well as a..."Cute little side story: every time my Nan took me shopping, she used to buy me a gingerbread from Gerrards Bakery, so this fragrance brings back some memories..." Kathryn also says: "The fragrance aisles are jam packed with garish celebrity fragrances and expensive scents you can only afford once in a blue moon. Library of Fragrance are a breath of fresh air in the overcrowded market." We like that very much.

On Monday, the Of Beauty & Nothingness blog writes a brilliant post about the combination of our 'Fireplace', 'Dark Chocolate' and 'Lavender' Colognes, which had us immediately scuttling to our literal 'library of fragrance' to try. We can confirm that it is our favourite combination of the week - we've been sporting it ever since. Meanwhile, Jenny at the Krystel Couture blog reviews our 'Pina Colada' Cologne and says, "This smells true to the real thing with hints of rum coming through for a beautiful scent that lasts hours once applied."

Tuesday saw Sophie at Sophie Rose Hearts, reviewing our 'Sex on the Beach' Cologne, who concluded that, "The scent is really light and fruity and would make a gorgeous holiday or party scent, and for an extra divine evening scent, simply layer up with a spritz of Patchouli!" (That's a brilliant tip, by the way). And over at the Colours and Carousels blog, Charlotte admits that she has become a little bit 'obsessed' with our range (we *blush*).

Rachel at Activities for Kids talked about us on Wednesday, saying, "When I think about my favourite smells, they’re all quite clean and fresh smelling, and there are very few perfumes that match them. I love the smell of newborn babies, thunderstorms, the seaside and fresh flowers, but I’ve never found a fragrance that smells anything like any of them. Until now." and goes on to tell us about her favourite (Baby Powder!). Meanwhile, Evelyn at We Were Raised by Wolves suggests our 'Pistachio Ice Cream' Cologne as a perfect Christmas gift (and alternative to the pricier scent by Laura Mercier), saying, "it's everything I hoped it would be. It's sweet, nutty, cool and smells just like the real thing...I've had so many compliments when I've worn it..."

Also on Wednesday, Julie at Raining Cake tries out our 'Cucumber', 'Orange Blossom' and 'Baby Powder' Colognes and finds them more than just a little bit addictive!

And if you are still searching for Christmas gift inspiration, check out what the Lucy Writes, Cocochic and Thou Shall Not Covet blogs have to recommend from our range.

Perhaps you've been looking for a review of our 'Patchouli' Cologne? In which case you're in luck, as Jess at the Glitterbat blog talks about why she loves our Cologne and what it reminds her of. Or maybe you're considering our 'Thunderstorm' Cologne? If so, head over to read what Corinne at Skinned Cartree has to say. Maybe, just maybe, you're mulling on our 'Paperback' Cologne (which is now back in stock, by the way!). If so, check out the Bookmagedotcom blog to find out why the author thinks it's "gorgeous".

Friday brought more news about our limited edition Christmas scents, which have been causing quite a stir! These are only available online from Boots.com and are at the special price of £9.99 while stocks last... so if you want to take the advice of Little Miss KME, My Dreamality or A Yellow Brick Blog, and snap one up, you better be quick!

Check back next week for more news about our reviews!
