The week's words on the web

PHOTO CREDIT: With thanks to Gwen McMullin at the This Fashion is Mine blog.

Here's our round-up of what's been written about The Library of Fragrance, this week - and goodness, it's been a busy one! Click the links to read the features in full.

Quick Beauty Bites says, "I love the spicy, earthy scent of ‘Fresh Ginger’ and for the days I want to press home the point after showering, ‘Clean Skin’. One of the best bits for me is the packaging – a simple, unfussy bottle, free of bells and whistles that will look great nestled among the other bottles on your dresser. Even better, at £15 they’re cheap enough for you to try a couple."

Meanwhile, over at the Pretty Witty Things blog, 'slightly horse obsessed' Vicky trials our 'Stable' Cologne to see if she could transport herself to the stables, whilst actually trapped at the office. Click the links to find out if she managed it!

On Tuesday, the wonderful Samantha at the equally wonderful and perfume-dedicated I Scent You a Day blog describes the scent of our 'Grass' Cologne as being akin to "the kind of grass you imagine in fairy tales", which makes us happy. And over at This Fashion is Mine, photographer Gwen captures our Espresso  in such beautiful shots that we actually want to climb into them, and exclaims, "Magically it smells just like coffee!". Beverly at My Senses Come to Life also writes about us, concluding that our Snow Cologne "is definitely going to be my 'go to' scent over the next couple of seasons, and it should probably be yours too because, quite honestly, it's delicious." Naturally, we agree with Beverly.

'Snow' also gets to be in the limelight on Wednesday when One Little Vice  says that it "encapsulates the smell of throwing open the front door on a cold winter morning. The fragrance captures how the chill of snow is intermingled with the freshness of the outdoors and the escape from the musk of central heating."

It's our Gingerbread Cologne's turn to shine on Friday, although it synergistically manages to inspire mad panic when Angel Flicks' Mary Ann sniffs it and is immediately reminded that Christmas is less than three month's away (although it's also good to hear that The Library of Fragrance has at least given her a few gift ideas for friends and family!).

Finally, Francesca at Toxylicious tries our our 'Barbados Cherry' Cologne, asking the question, 'Can a single scent be exciting?'. Obviously we know the answer to that one (it's 'yes', by the way), but it was lovely to see that Francesca reached the same conclusion!
